Why the fuck is there even an elite tactical unit in that department at all. They act like immigrants are walking around with RPG’s and high tech infiltration equipment. You’re dressing up as a super soldier so you can kidnap Home Depot migrant workers

officially they are there to stop high level cartel shit where they actually do have RPGs and not necessarily high tech infiltrations but enough to be a serious threat to normal BP agents. now theyre in dem-voting cities trying to get martial law enacted

Where are the cartel bosses. Where. I haven’t seen a single one apprehended yet. Not in the states. The only high level cartel person they have is the president of Venezuela and they had to kill innocent Venezuelans in their own city to find him.

🤷 border patrol has better things to do in this administration like terrorizing native born citizens and working with ice to deport legal immigrants with no due process. all of them now are just high school dropout inbred chucklefucks who joined so they could kill someone and get away with it

I mean, cartel bosses aren't running around the border. BORTAC was never supposed to arrest cartel bosses.

The guy I was replying to said their function is to go after “high level cartel shit”. Street dealers and brown people looking for work at the Home Depot are not high level cartel members

They're referring to the heavily armed cartel near the border, not the bosses.

And yes, I agree that they're being severely misused going against random immigrants.

they have a history of going after high level cartel shit- see operation blast furnace, the death of BP agent brian terry, etc.

this isnt the first time trump has misused BORTAC in this way; they were also deployed in 2020 to deal with george floyd protests and also out to sanctuary cities also in 2020 along with ice to intimidate refugees. long story short they are made for counter-narco purposes (high level cartel shit), and they have a history of actually doing their job, but they are being used in the wrong way

BORTAC isn’t for immigration enforcement. It’s for raiding cartel drug tunnels under the border and such. I know an ATF guy who worked with BORTAC once: they are trained to have no chill because the only time they’ll be doing anything is when there is risk of armed conflict.

Trump sent guys who are prepared for a gunfight to manage civilian crowd control.
