I feel like these 5 are the most hated politicians around the world right now, each for a different reason, but which one would you say is the most despised where you live?

Does your country have any notable “unhinged” military heroes?

Col. Lewis Millett was a WWII and Korean War Veteran who abandoned his post in the US military to go join the Canadian military purely so he could go fight the Axis sooner. Rejoining the American military after they officially joined the war.

Later on in life, he was a captain acting as a Forward Observer in the Korean war, during which he would intercept a peace of Communist correspondence that claimed Americans were afraid of bayonets and melee combat. He took this as a challenge and proceeded to train his men in bayonet combat, dashing the idea that Americans were afraid to get stuck in with no less than three bayonet charges, all of which he was right at the front of

What is considered polite in your culture but rude in others?

Post image

In Iran, something that’s considered polite but can feel rude or confusing to outsiders is taarof.

Taarof is a social etiquette where people politely refuse or downplay offers at first, even if they actually want to accept. For example, if someone offers you food, money, or help, you might say “no, please don’t bother” a few times out of politeness, and the other person will insist. This back-and-forth shows respect and generosity, not indecision.

To someone from another culture, this can seem dishonest or awkward, like people don’t mean what they say. But in Iran, it’s a way of showing humility and care. Accepting too quickly can feel rude, and insisting is a way of showing sincerity.

What is a typical everyday breakfast and/or weekend breakfast where you live? For me, it's usually a couple pineapple spears and some Greek yogurt along with a cup of coffee at my desk during the week. On the weekends I might make shakshuka, a cheese omelet or (on special occasions) abelskivers.

I think from India I'll nominate Preity Zinta. In a very lighthearted way, I feel that if Monica Bellucci and Jennifer Connelly had a daughter, she would look like her. She looks like a blend of them.

History What movie or TV show about real historical figures from your country or continent would you recommend

Since in my country there is none that I am satisfied with, I will recommend Shaka Ilembe. It is the retelling of the famous Zulu King. The previous one released in 1986 was highly controversial hence they did a remake and it is phenomenal. It really captures the essence of Zulu culture, it was produced and written by the Zulu people so we get to hear their side of the story on how Shaka Zulu came to be. I highly recommend it. The trailer
